The first thing we will do is get to know you as you describe your ideal new home. E.J. will take the time to understand your needs and preferences and will work with you to determine what kind of lot and home will work best for you. 

Selecting a Lot

Emil Chernicky & Sons Builders can build your custom home on a lot you own, or can assist you in finding a lot. E.J. will listen as you describe the ideal setting of your new home, then work with you to find a lot that reflects your priorities. Things like location, lot size, utility availability, and the natural features of the lot are discussed at this stage.

Home Plans

At this stage, you will work with E.J. to create or customize an existing home plan that meet the specific needs of your family. 

Specifications

Based on the home plan you have chosen, E.J. will create a price quote which includes an itemized list of costs for your project to go along with the plans for your new home. Emil Chernicky & Sons Builders has a long history of offering surprisingly affordable options to meet the needs of their customers. At this time, budgets are set for fixture and finish selections, as well. 

Your Selections

Once your contract has been signed, E.J. will help you get started with choosing the materials for your home. Emil Chernicky & Sons Builders uses online construction management software through which customers can see each phase of their project, as well as timelines and options for choosing the fixtures and finishes for their new home. E.J. is always available to customers throughout the building process, including several walk-through meetings at your home as it is constructed. 

Construction

You'll remain in contact with E.J. through the duration of the construction of your home. As your home comes together, E.J. is always available to meet on-site to answer questions and address any concerns you may have.

Completion

Upon completion, you'll have a final walk-through with E.J. to ensure you're happy with your new home. Once you've closed on your new home, E.J. is always available to address any concerns you may have. In addition to the manufacturer warranties for the products in your home, Emil Chernicky & Sons provides a one year comprehensive warranty.
